NOTICE FOR SALE OF WOODEN LOGS AVAILABLE AT IISER CAMPUS, VITHURA

Country wood and Fire wood obtained from cutting trees, as per the details given below, are available for sale at IISER Campus, Vithura. It is proposed to sell the items by inviting quotations. The approximate quantities available for sale are as given below.

Those who are interested may obtain the quotation forms from the Office of the Project Engineer-cum-Estate Officer, IISER TVM Campus, Near Jersey Farm, Maruthamala P.O, Vithura, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 551, on working days between 10 AM and 4 PM from 21.05.2012 to 30.05.2012 on remittance of `500/- + `25/- (VAT). The indenting parties are requested to inspect the items stacked at various locations in the campus and assess the condition/quantity of the items before quoting, by contacting Mr. A. Krishna Kumar, Junior Engineer, Vihtura, Thiruvananthapuram (Contact No. 0472-2788148, 9446173659). No claim regarding the above will be entertained later.

The completed quotations are to be submitted to the Project Engineer-cum-Estate Officer, IISER TVM Campus, Near Jersey Farm, Maruthamala P.O., Vithura, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 551 before 5 PM on 31.05.2012. Quotations will be opened at Office of the Project Engineer-cum-Estate Officer, IISER TVM Campus, Vithura at 11 AM on 01.06.2012 in the presence of attending renderers.

The offer with highest quoted amount will be accepted provisionally. The successful bidder has to remit 25% of the amount quoted immediately. The balance amount will have to be remitted within seven days of receiving direction/confirmation from IISER. If the offer is not confirmed the remitted amount will be returned, without any interest. The Cut trees/fire wood have to be removed from the site within one month, after remitting the full amount subject to the conditions to be stipulated by IISER. IISER reserves the right to accept or reject any offer without assigning any reason.
