In this talk, we shall see once again the hidden beauty of mathematics and the inter disciplinary applicability of coding theory, cryptography,graph theory etc to space missions, communications theory,world wide web, chemistry and fractals.I wish to dedicate this talk to Prof.Benoit Mandelbrot- the father of Fractal Geometry, who passed away on14th October 2010.
