Abstract:An interesting problem in Euclidean Harmonic analysis is to study the asymptotic properties of the Fourier transform of measures supported in a set of Lebesgue measure zero. We have pointwise decay of the Fourier transform of surface measures on a d-dimensional manifold of finite type. Consider the measures supported on fractal sets. In this talk we discuss the asymptotic properties of the Fourier transform of such fractal measures, by discussing few celebrated inequalities.
