Abstract : Our aim is to study the control of compressible Navier-Stokes system around a constant steady state with non-zero velocity using an interior control acting only for velocity equation. We first prove the null controllability of the linearized system in a natural Sobolev space and show that this space is the largest space for initial conditions to get null controllability and also exponential stabilizability of the system with any decay rate. Further, using these results for linearized system, we finally get local stabilizability and local null controllability of the full nonlinear system around the constant trajectory.
