Hostel Accommodation

• Being a fully residential Institute, students are required to stay in the Institute hostel. IISER TVM provides furnished hostel accommodation to all its students.
• On the day of registration, students will be provided hostel rooms and they are expected to occupy their respective rooms on the same day.
• Students are advised to bring the following items:
  1. Mattress & Pillow – 1 (Can be bought locally from the co-operative store in the campus or nearby market after hostel allotment)
  2. Bed sheets – at least 2
  3. Pillow – 1
  4. Pillow cover – at least 2
  5. Mosquito net – 1
  6. Bath Towel – at least 2
  7. Bag for dirty clothes – 1
  8. Basket, Mug, Soap dish – 1 each
  9. Umbrella or raincoat – 1
  10. Torch – 1
  11. Pad locks-2
  12. Buckets & Mug-2
  13. Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, shaving kits, nail cutter, shoe polish kit, handkerchief, hangers, slippers, shoes, clothes, medicines – as per requirement
  14. Any other items required for academic purposes.
      Students may also purchase these items from the co-operative store in the campus or from the Vithura (near by) market.

Please note that accompanying parents/guardians will not be permitted to stay overnight in the Institute hostel with their respective wards.
