Walk in Interview for Technical Officer on Short term Contract basis

WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram an autonomous institution under MoE, GOI requires Technical Officer (Physics/Chemistry/Biology – 01 each) on short term contract basis.

Qualification and Experience

Essential : First Class Master’s Degree in Physics/Instrumentation Science/Chemistry/Material Sciences/Physical Science/Biology/ equivalent qualification with minimum 10 years’ experience in handling Laboratory Courses at the Masters Level in Universities/National Level Institutions etc..

Desirable : Experience in Handling & Supervising Analytical/Spectroscopic /Microscopic equipments, excellent Programming Skills in Programming Languages such as C/C++/Java/Perl etc. and data structures with proven record.

Age limit : Below 60 years.

Terms of employment

• The positions are purely temporary for a period of one academic year and the appointment may be extended after reviewing performance and institute’s requirement.
• Remuneration : Rs. 35, 000/- (consolidated per month)
• Personnel retired from Govt. service are also encouraged to apply
