For Recruitment of Technical Assistant

 A walk-in interview for selecting a suitable person as Technical Assistant meeting the following criteria will be conducted on 28th May, 2013, Tuesday from 10 AM at IISER TVM.

• Qualifications:  M.Sc in Physics or B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/   Instrumentation.
• Experience  :      2 years in case of M.Sc/B.Tech and 4 years for Diploma in handling /operation of sophisticated equipments in research lab or instrumentation facility: preference will be given for experience in electron microscopy.
•  Age:  up to 35 years

2. Number of positions:  1 ( unreserved)

3. Terms of employment:

• The position is purely temporary for a period of one year and may be extended depending on performance and institute’s requirement.
• Salary:  Rs. 18,000/- (consolidated) per month. Higher salary may be considered for having more experience.
• Selected candidates will have to join duty within fifteen days.

4. Job Requirements:

• Operation & maintenance of equipment for Scanning Electron Microscopy and X-Ray Diffraction and other similar equipment in the Institute’s instrumentation facility.

Candidates having the prescribed qualification may attend the Walk-in Interview on the date and time mentioned above with their Bio-data, a passport size photo; original certificates regarding qualification, experience and age with copies.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
