Recruitment of Technical Assistants on Contract

A written test will held on 27.04.2016 to prepare a rank list for the post of Technical Assistant (Physics – 03 nos, Chemistry and Biology – 01 each) on short term contract basis.

Educational Qualification : M.Sc with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.0 (in 10 point scale) in relevant subject.

Desirable experience : One year laboratory experience in Academic/Research Institutions.

Job Profile : Lab assistance to the integrated BS-MS students in Physics/Chemistry/Biology for their laboratory courses, day-to-day laboratory maintenance and organizing lab essentials etc

Age limit: Below 30 years.

Terms of employment

1. The positions are purely temporary for a period of one academic year and the appointment may be extended after reviewing performance and institute’s requirement.
2. Remuneration : Rs. 18, 000/- (consolidated per month).
3. Place of posting will be at permanent campus Vithura/transit campus, Thiruvananthapuram

Candidates having the prescribed qualification may attend the written test with their Bio-data and original certificates (with a set of self-attested copy) on 27.04.2016

Those who appeared for final year/semester exam and the mark sheets till last semester available are also eligible to appear for written test. If shortlisted, appointment will be made only on production of valid M.Sc certificate.
