Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.
The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

| Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency) | PhD in theoretical Physics with specialization in quantum information theory, quantum physics, theoretical condensed matter physics or allied areas. |
| Preference | Strong background in numerics will be considered a plus |

| Fellowship amount | Rs 54,000 + HRA |
| Tenure of the post | 2 Years extendable for 1 more year based on the satisfactory review of performance. |
| Age | Less than 32 Years with applicable relaxation for SC/ST,OBC candidates. |
