Recruitment of JRF / Project Assistant

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. The Institute invites applications for the following project positions on contract basis:

Minimum Educational Qualification
(as prescribed by the funding agency)
M.Sc (in Physics)/ BTech or BE (in Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronic and Communication Engineering) with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade).
Additional qualifications for JRF: NET/GATE qualification.
In case of suitable candidate with the above qualifications is not found, canidates with M.Sc(Physics)/BTech/BE in Electical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics and Communication Engineering may be appointed as Project Assistant (PA) if found suitable.
Preference Preference will be given to the academically excellent candidates with experience in computer programming, instrumentation, and / or image/ signal processing. The candidates should be highly motivated to do research in Applied Physics - Instrumentation and imaging for clinical/ Biomedical applications.

Project Assistant (PA): INR 20,000.00 + HRA
Tenure of the Post One (1) year, extendable based on performance and availability of grant
Age 32 Years with 3-5 Years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically disabled as per norms of Government of India (GoI)

Achievement and research experience (if any) should be supported by a certificate from the previous employer/s.
