Recruitment for the posts of Research Associate-I
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.
The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

| Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency) | Ph.D. degree in Physics/electrical engineering/material engineering or equivalent. Candidate who have just submitted their Ph.D thesis may also apply. |
| Preference |
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in (i) device processing, fabrication techniques such as lithography, metallization, etching (ii) Processing Silicon and/or GaAs materials (iii) Sound background in MOSFET fabrication and measurements (iv) Electrical and electronic instrumentation. |

| Fellowship amount |
Rs. 47000/- + HRA p/m or as per DST norms and Guidance. Candidates who have submitted the Ph.D thesis and awaiting the award of the degree will be paid an amount of Rs. 35000/- + HRA |
| Tenure of the post | Six months and extendable up to two years subjective to the satisfactory performance-evaluation every six months. |
| Age | 32 Years or below as on the closing date of application, A relaxation as per DST norms for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates. |
