Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.

The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of Post	RA-I
Name of Project	Optimal control of reaction-diffusion equations with mixed state and control constraints
Funding agency	DST-SERB
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency)	Ph.D. Degree in Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science or related fields.
Preference	This project requires strong background in Optimal control of PDEs, Finite element methods, High-Performance Computing (HPC) skills and developing numerical schemes for solving the PDEs.

Fellowship amount	47,000 (Consolidated)
Tenure of the post	Project duration is for 3 years. Initial contract is for 6 months and extendable based on the performance of the candidate.
