The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is one of the premier science education and research institutes established by the Government of India in 2008 to impart high-quality education integrated with outstanding research in modern science. The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis

Name of Post	Project Associate - I
Title of the project	Quantum information processing from distinguishability of physical processes
Funding agency	STARS, Govt. of India
Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	MSc/MS in Physics Candidates who have qualified National Eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship or GATE will be preferred. Candidates without National Eligibility Test qualification may be appointed as Project Associate 1 if found suitable.
Desirable qualifications	MSc/MS in Physics with good track record
Number of posts	1
Fellowship amount	Rs.31,000/-+ HRA (per month) to scholars who are selected in a national eligibility test. Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (per month) to those who do not fall under the above category.
Tenure of the post	1 year
Age	Not more than 35 years as on closing date of advertisement
