Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.

The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of Project	Copper-Mediated Nucleophilic and Electrophilic Propargylation Reactions: Asymmetric Synthesis of Various Propargylic Compounds
Funding agency	SERB
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency)	MSc Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks
Preference	Candidates having research experience will be preferred.
Number of posts	1
Fellowship amount	INR. 31,000/-per month (Consolidated) for GATE or CSIR/UGC-NET JRF or LS (Lectureship). INR. 25,000/-per month for those who do not qualify for GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET JRF/LS (Lectureship).
Tenure of the post	Initial contract is for 1 year and is extendable based on the performance of the candidate till the termination of project or till fund availability.
Age	Less than 30 years (age relaxation for OBC-NCL, SC/ST candidates as per GoI norms).
