The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of Project	Quasi-optimality of adaptive finite element methods for elliptic optimal control problems
Funding agency	DST – SERB
Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	Masters Degree (Mathematics/Computer science) with CSIR-UGC Net/Gate or Selection to Masters Degree in Professional course through National level examinations conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc If a suitable candidate is not found, candidates with a first class Master’s degree in Mathematical/Computer Sciences (awarded) as mentioned above may be considered.

Tenure of the post	Initial contract for 6 months and extendable based on the performance of the candidate.
