Minimum: MSc (or equivalent) in Biology/Botany/ Environmental Science/Forestry/Life Science/Plant Science/Plant Ecology or related field as per UGC guidelines and having a valid NET/GATE or other national exam qualifying certificate
Desirable qualifications Experimental and theoretical knowledge in plant/tree photosynthesis, whole-plant physiology, plant ecology, leaf functional traits and biochemical assays; experience in field experiments; experience with plant sensors (chlorophyll a fluorometer and leaf gas-exchange analyser); experience/ willingness to travel and work across different hot humid mangrove wetland sites in Kerala, and other states; large data collection and handling experience, and knowledge in statistical analysis; ability to work in group

Fellowship amount Rs 37,000/month (+ HRA as applicable) for 1 st and 2 nd year and Rs 42,000/month (+ HRA as applicable) for 3 rd year.
Tenure of the post 1 year (extendable till 3 rd year based on candidate’s performance)
