Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.

The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of Post	Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB sanctioned Project
Name of Project	2D Materials/Biopolymer-based Broad-Spectrum Antimicrobial Multilayer Coatings: Synergistic Approach to Thwart the Biofilm Formation on the Medical Implants
Funding Agency	Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) India
Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	Masters Degree or Graduate in Basic Sciences or Engineering
Preference	Bachelor Degree in Biology or Biotechnology, and Masters in Biotechnology or Biology, or Nanoscience, should have expertise in Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology and Microbiology, especially performing antimicrobial assays, etc.

Fellowship amount	31000 + HRA as per the GOI rules
Tenure of the post	One year
Age	30 years. Age relaxation as per GOI rules for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC
