   1. M. Sc in Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Photonics/ Instrumentation or BS-MS with Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics as Major or B. Tech/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication
   2. 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 in relevant degree
2. Research Associate (RA Level III):
   1. Ph. D in Chemistry
   2. specialization in photochemistry and spectroscopy
3. Scientific Assistant:
   1. M. Sc in Chemistry/BSMS with chemistry as major
   2. 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 in relevant degree

Junior Project Fellow and Senior Project Fellow
Prior experience in data processing/theoretical chemistry/spectroscopy/Instrumentation

Research Associate (RA Level III):
Minimum of two years of post-Ph.D experience in photochemistry and spectroscopy

Scientific Assistant:
A minimum of one year of working experience in handling scientific projects

Junior Project Fellow : Rs 25,000 + 20% HRA for first two years and Rs 28,000/- + 20% HRA for third year

Senior Project Fellow : Rs 28,000 + 20% HRA for three years

RA III : Rs 40,000 + 20% HRA for first year with an increase of Rs 2000/- every year

Scientific Assistant : Rs 24000/- consolidated

Junior Project Fellow and Senior Project Fellow :
28 years for Junior Project Fellow and 30 years for Senior Project Fellow as on last date of application

RA III :
40 years as on last date of application

Scientific Assistant :
28 years as on last date of application 3-5 Years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PD/Women as per norms of GO
