A walk-in selection for the post of Programmer for development and maintenance of Academic Management software will be conducted on 20th September 2024 at 10.00 AM.

Venue: IISER Thiruvananthapuram campus, Maruthamala.P.O, Vithura, Thiruvananthapuram - 695551.

Essential Qualification: Undergraduate degree in Science or Engineering with Mathematics as a subject. Candidates without a degree in Computer Science background should have a diploma or professional certificate in web development.

Age Limit: Preferably below 40 years

Number of positions: 01

Desirable Experience

• Object Oriented Programming in PHP-CLI & PHP-CGI.
• Any of the following Server-side (MVC) Frameworks: Laravel, Codeigniter, CakePHP,Laminas [ZendPHP], Yii.
• Any of the following Client-side Frameworks: HTMX, jQuery, Boostrap, React, Angular, Vue.
• Involved in developing RESTful APIs and web services with XML, JSON as medium of data transfer.

Essential Experience

• 5 years experiences in LAMP Stack, SQL (MS SQL, MySQL etc), PHP.

Terms of employment:

• The position is purely on short term temporary contract basis. Initially for one year and renewable based on performance.
• Remuneration: up to INR 60,000/- (consolidated) per month depending on experience.
