Interaction programme with Scientists: a one day seminar was organized at St Xavier’s College, Palayamkottai , TamilNadu

An interaction programme with scientists was held at St Xavier’s College, Palayamkottai on 20.9.2014. The programme aimed at enabling the college students to interact with the faculty members of IISER TVM with a view to improve their scientific knowledge. Prof. V. Ramakrishnan, Director, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, inaugurated the function. Faculty members from IISER Thiruvananthapuram, Prof. George Thomas, Dr Utpal Manna, Dr Anil Shaji, Dr Hema somanathan delivered lectures and interacted with a group of University/college students of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. Dr John Britto of St Xavier’s college coordinated the programme.
