Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2024

'Har Ghar Tiranga' is a campaign that started under the aegis of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM)", an initiative of the Government of India started on 12th March 2021 to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements. The campaign has been launched to encourage the citizens to hoist the National Flag of India in their homes.

Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation thus became symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our collective commitment to nation-building. The idea behind the initiative was to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag

You are encouraged to hoist the flag in your homes from 9 to 15 August 2024. Apart from this, you can also 'Pin a Flag' virtually, along with posting a 'Selfie with Flag'.
