Guidelines for BS-MS 2020 Batch Students

GUIDELINES FOR BS-MS 2020 BATCH STUDENTS FOR ENTRY TO THE CAMPUS AND STAY DURING QUARANTINE AND AFTER QUARANTINE IN THE HOSTELS

BS-MS dual degree programme is a fully residential programme and all the students are required to stay in the Institute hostel. All the students will be provided with furnished hostel accommodation.

Due to the current pandemic situation and considering the safety of the Institute community all the students entering the campus from outside will have to undergo seven days isolated stay/quarantine in the designated area.

On completion of isolated stay all the students will have to undergo an RTPCR test and those found negative will be allotted with hostel rooms.

Arrangements will be made for vaccination of those students who are not vaccinated in cooperation with the local health authorities/civil hospitals.

Those who cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons/recent COVID infection has to intimate the fact while filling the google form.

During isolated stay, only minimal essential luggage can be permitted. Accordingly, those items which are required for the later period can be brought in a separate luggage for which safe custody will be arranged by the Institute and the same can be collected back after quarantine.

The students can bring dry fruits/snacks etc for the use during isolated stay.

The following items will be required for your comfortable stay in the hostels:

1. Mattress & Pillow - 1 each
2. Bed sheets - 2
3. Pillow cover -2
4. Soap dish - 1 each
5. Umbrella - 1
6. Torch - 1
7. Pad locks-2
8. Buckets & Mug-2 each
9. Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, nail cutter, hangers
10. Other items required for academic purposes

(Students can also purchase the above mentioned items from the co-operative store/shops operating in the campus. )
