The selection for this award is through a rigorous process. From among the nominated persons, two award winners are selected every two years by the APA councilors of various "Asian and Oceanian countries" based on voting by marks. Two candidates with the maximum marks are selected from among the nominated candidates with the condition that the selected candidate(s) should receive more than 67% marks.
The award lecture and ceremony for the Award are scheduled during the Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Conference (APC2023) in Melbourne, on November 27 - December 1, 2023. https://www.apc2023.org/
