After finishing my schooling in Kochi, I pursued an undergraduate degree in chemistry at IISER Pune, where the interdisciplinary training sparked my interest in metabolic chemistry. This passion led me to the University of Strasbourg, where I focused on studying carbon-carbon bond-forming reaction sequences in core metabolism. Later, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin to deepen my understanding of the biological aspects of metabolism and its characterisation.
