My research is aimed at understanding the Physics of Novel Materials and using this knowledge to develop optical and electronic nanostructure devices. Some of the areas that my group at IISER Thiruvananthapuram is currently working on now are:

• Light-matter interaction in the quantum regime ( eg. Phonon cavities)
• Ultrafast optical studies of emergent material systems (eg. Transition metal dichalcogenides, Strongly Correlated Materials)
• Terahertz spectroscopy and imaging (for fundamental studies as well as Industrial applications)
