Dhanyamol Antony is an Assistant Professor in the School of Data Science at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM). Before joining IISER TVM, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Graph Theory and Combinatorics group, under the supervision of Prof. L Sunil Chandran in the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, from February 2023 to August 2024. She received Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology Calicut under the supervision of Prof. R Subashini in 2023. She was a Research Intern at IIT Dharwad under the supervision of Prof. Sandeep R. B in 2021. Prior to Ph.D., she received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Kerala.

Her primary research interest is Algorithms and Graph Theory. In particular, she is interested in the structural aspects of graphs and its algorithmic implications. Her PhD thesis titled “On the Computational Complexity of Graph Modification to H-free graphs” encompasses two types of edge modification problems: Subgraph Complementation and Seidel's Switching. In both these problems, the focus was on obtaining P versus NP-Complete complexity dichotomies on various graph classes by using the structural properties of these graph classes.
