Chemistry has been my passion since my higher secondary school days, and this interest only deepened over the years. During my undergraduate studies, organic chemistry captivated me, as I found immense joy in predicting reaction outcomes through mechanistic insights. This fascination grew further during my Master’s program, where I was introduced to the exciting field of medicinal chemistry alongside advanced organic synthesis techniques.
My passion for organic and medicinal chemistry gained a robust foundation through my doctoral and postdoctoral research. During this time, I worked on addressing real-world challenges in medicinal chemistry, focusing on the design and synthesis of novel compounds to target critical disease pathways. These experiences not only advanced my expertise in medicinal chemistry but also deepened my commitment to developing innovative therapeutic strategies to tackle pressing health challenges. Leveraging organic synthesis techniques and computational drug discovery, I aim to create novel strategies to address the escalating threat of antimicrobial resistance.
