Personal Information
Archana Pai was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She obtained her B.Sc. in Physics from Ruparel College, Mumbai and M.Sc. in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. She did her Ph.D. in Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Pune with Prof. S. V. Dhurandhar on Gravitational Wave Detection. Subsequently, she held positions as Henri Poincare Fellow at Observatoire de la Cote d’Azur, France, INFN fellow at La Sapienza, University of Roma, Italy and a post-doctoral position at Albert Einstein Institute, Germany.
