Dr. Hema Somanathan, faculty in Biology at IISER TVM has been awarded a two year Royal Society (UK) grant to study sensory, perceptual and learning mechanisms in honeybees. The grant will provide funds for research, and PhD student exchange programs between the laboratories of Dr. Somanathan at IISER and Dr. Natalie Hempel de Ibarra at the University of Exeter, UK.
